What counts as one API call?
Each request to any /v1/* endpoint counts as one call. /v1/guard counts the request, not each claim found within.
What happens if I exceed my quota?
You get a 402 response. Upgrade your plan or wait until the next billing cycle. We do not auto-charge overage — you must upgrade explicitly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
How accurate is the data?
FAXTR aggregates verdicts from 100+ accredited fact-check organizations (AFP, Reuters, Snopes, PolitiFact, etc.). We do not independently judge — we surface what verified organizations have already determined. See our methodology page.
Do paid plans include a free trial?
During beta, we grant free Business-tier access to qualifying developers. Apply via the developers page.
